The old is a promo poster I recently found while going through some boxes. It was a poster I sent out to announce that the studio was going digital…think that was back in the mid 1990’s. The design was by Steve Ditko and the illustration including the type was created by Frank Ybara. I had totally forgotten about the poster…just love what Frank did. Finding it made me laugh out loud!

The new is a couple of sea food shots done for Sprouts Famer’s Market and a few coffee shots I did for myself.

I just recently finished shooting for health and nutrition company Vemma located in Scottsdale Az. I’ve worked with Scott Flatt, the art director, for several years and it’s always a pleasure collaborating with him. The location product shots were done for a series of brochures introducing new products. It was great to be on location and away from the darkness of a studio environment. Working with both natural light and strobe was great fun!

Thanks goes out to prop-stylist Ron Garnica, Scott Flatt from Vemma and photo-assistant Erica Montgomery.

I love the days when I can shoot for myself. I enjoy building still lifes of ingredients and then showing the process of the preparation of a recipe. Simply stated I want to share with you some of my exploration.

Genus Imports is bringing high-end coffee service to the best of the best in restaurants and resorts. They have the North American license to sell Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee to these high-end purveyors of service and fine food. We were recently contacted by them to produce rich images for their website and marketing materials. They provide their clients with everything including table side service items and custom-made coffee flutes. My warm thanks goes to my assistant and my stylist who provided just the right props to help tell my clients story.

Ten days of shooting brownies and cookies…what a great gig! We wrapped the shoot just a couple of days ago and thought I would share a couple of the cover shoots.
